Prayer

The Lord Jesus taught that “men ought always to pray and not to faint.” (Luke 18:1)

For over 50 years prayer has been a regular activity in Newtownbreda Gospel Hall.

While our prayers are both wide-ranging and varied, there are recurring subjects about which we pray continually.

Here are a few examples:

• We pray for a wise and stable government
• We pray for safe and secure families
• We pray for the moral and spiritual safety of young people
• Most of all it is our hearts’ desire that those living in our district might be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4)
